Careful placement of the project's main components allowed the creation of an expansive outdoor space oriented toward views of Lake Travis and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Antenora Architects designed the new residential complex as a weekend getaway for a large extended family.

The project involved demolition of an existing structure, the substantial remodel and addition to the original house, and construction of a new guest house and adjacent pergolas. The design team nestled the structures among native mesquite and cedar trees, and carved out a dramatic series of terraces that coalesce into one large exterior room.Additionally, the extensive landscape design takes full advantage of the vistas and the site's rugged terrain.
