This successful adaptive re-use project rejuvenated an underutilized building that previously contained offices, warehouse space, and apartments for transient laborers. Antenora Architects replaced its brick veneer with a new facade of glass to create a vibrant and inviting street frontage. The design team also added steel framework and an exterior skin of D’Hanis structural tile. Now a popular mixed-use complex, 3423 Guadalupe encourages pedestrians and motorists driving by to peer inside to observe the activities within.
